Flockly is not limited to planning one week or one month at a time. A month is a useful planning cycle, not a scheduling cap. You can prepare content for months or even years ahead, keep future posts as drafts and schedule them when you are ready. Use month view to scan the wider plan, week view for detailed adjustments and list view for an agenda-style review.
Start with the month you need to cover
List the launches, restocks, promotions and evergreen products you want to feature during the month. Decide which connected social channels suit each idea before writing every caption in detail. This gives the plan a clear shape while leaving room to respond to new products or changes in the store.
Create drafts from Shopify content
Use Create Post to turn Shopify products, Shopify media or supported files from your device into drafts. A draft can include one or more connected channels. Tailor the caption and media for each selected channel, then review the requirements Flockly shows before scheduling.
Saving early ideas as drafts lets you build the month without publishing unfinished work. You can return to each draft to refine the wording, media and destination.
Schedule manually or use Smart Schedule
You can choose a future date and time for each post manually, including campaigns months or years ahead, subject to the connected social network's requirements. This works well when a campaign has fixed launch dates, promotional deadlines or a required publishing order.
On every paid plan, Smart Schedule can place a queue of drafts across a reviewed one to four-week window. It uses best-time data while keeping your preferred order. Smart Schedule arranges the plan; it does not publish unreviewed content automatically.
Review the complete plan
Before posts go live, check that:
- campaign dates and product availability still match the store;
- every post has the intended social channels selected;
- captions and media have been tailored for those channels;
- warnings or connection issues have been resolved; and
- scheduled times leave the mix and pace you want across the month.
Open a future scheduled post when you need to update its caption or time. Cancelling a future post stops its scheduled publishing job and does not remove content that has already been published.
Keep the plan flexible
A monthly plan is a working schedule, not a locked calendar. Review the month for balance, the next week for detail and the list for status. This makes it easier to adjust for stock changes, new campaigns and recent social performance without rebuilding the entire plan.
